Christie’s presents our Prints and Multiples New York fall series, comprised of a two day auction in New York, a dedicated single-artist online auction and a selection of significant Post-War and Contemporary editions in the 20/21 Century Day sales. Led by Willem de Kooning’s Waves #1 and Pablo Picasso’s vibrant linocut of Buste de femme au chapeau, the Prints and Multiples live auction showcases a wide selection of editions from the 19th century to present day including works by Richard Diebenkorn, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. The sale takes place on Friday, 27 October, and Saturday, 28 October in conjunction with the first day of the 20th/21st Century Art public exhibition, which features important complete sets by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein in its Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale. The online auction Marc Chagall, Color of Life: Prints and Artist’s Books Formerly from the Artist’s Estate celebrates the exuberant and joyful prints from the legendary artist and is live for bidding 17–30 October.
